The Last Walk!

 Hello everyone, this is Mohammad Yusuf. I hope you guys are fine and doing great. I am back with a new poem. This poem is the 6th chapter of the extraordinary love story of a one sided lover. Every story needs to end and this story is also heading towards end. This is the second last chapter of this marvellous story. This poem is a lyrical bomb with some great references. I have improved my writing skills and references. Hope you all will love it. I took longer than usual time to write this, hope you will feel the changes and improvements. With a quote lets begin this poem. 

"When its dark, the moon and I often talk about how would it be if we were together."

                          The Last Walk!

Hey honey, I am back again,

What to do, you have that karizma from which I cannot refrain.

You remember? We went on a walk under the moonlight,

Maybe you don't but one thing I remember, that night your face was a competitor for the moonlight.

That night my hand felt the warmth of most beautiful hands of yours

Believe me honey, from that night no other hands fit in my hand better than yours.

That night you were quite but your name was constant in my every talks,

The night was darker but you were like a firefly in the dark night.

When I held your hands tightly, you asked what was special that night,

There were millions of stars but among those stars the moon was in my hand that night.

I wanted to walk with you where sunset met the sky that day,

Because there was hope in its dying light that you will be mine one day.

When you looked at me in my eyes, I saw a fire inside me,

And wondered why everything burned down inside me.

That night I noticed that there were many minute parts of you unexplored,

So I wanted to isolate myself in you like Robinson Crusoe for rest of my life, so those parts get explored.

That night we were standing under a tree to take some rest,

I saw your face sparkling due to moonlight, it was beauty at its best.

I wanted that night to be my longest night ever,

I wanted to walk with you on the road of life forever.

That night whenever you touched me, it felt I have always been yours,

As if your arms have always been my home.

I wanted to feel the fragrance of your lips by making them rest on mine,

But a common boy can't feel it as it was a heavenly gift which was sublime.

That night everything was perfect except one thing,

The flowers which I brought for you were stinking.

Also, I failed to find myself in your eyes,

Everything went upside down when you whispered a name and it was not mine.

That night I saw myself as a substitute for your leisure time.

I will never regret loving you,

I will only regret how long I allowed myself to be fooled.

How conveniently you came to me when your romance grew lukewarm,

As if I was the second best or a good backup plan.

I just want to tell I was never here to compete with your memory or someone else,

I was an artist who wanted to make you his masterpiece whom no one can imitate.

I was like a senseless fighter fighting for the love that was never even truly there,

Even though you were not serious, I showed you authentic care.

That night after the walk you went back to your normal life,

But that boy is still there watching the sunset everyday hoping that one day you will gift him a life.

I don't know how you forgot the affection he had for you,

How can you forget him whose definition for true love was you.

No matter what you did but still I will love you forever,

That hand will still remain empty I will wait under that tree for you forever.

But I will never forgive you for putting the nail in a coffin, which had a name "true love".

Love will no longer exist in your name,there will come a day,

Maybe, we will be two people meeting again for the first time, someday.
